Take control of your design work. Utilising the Roland Active Piezo Sensor (RAPS) technology, the MDX-20/15 is transformed into a 3D scanner for scanning 3D objects and creating 3D data. The milling spindle unit turns the machine into a full-featured CNC mill, capable of cutting jeweller’s wax, resins, chemical wood, acrylic and even light metals such as brass and aluminium.
"save time and money,
by taking control of your design work"
The MDX-20and MDX-15 both use Subtractive Rapid Prototyping (SRP®) technology – removing unwanted material from a solid object – to reduce costs and increase speed. SRP machines can mill a wide range of low cost materials and have no need for post finishing work due to their superior finish.
Plugging into your computer as easy as any desktop printer. The MDX-20 and MDX-15 work with a variety of popular 3D CAD and computer graphics software programs including SolidWorks®, Rhinoceros®, VectorWorks®, LightWave®, VisualMill and 3D Studio Max®, allowing you to design in the program you’re most comfortable with.
By testing and modifying your virtual 3D designs, the MDX-20 and MDX-15 will save you time and money.
