MetazaStudio Engraving Software

The Metaza range of impact engravers from Roland is unique in the way they produce stunning results from almost any form of artwork. But the hardware is only as good as the software allows. This is why Roland developed MetazaStudio. To unlock the creative potential of the Metaza, you need a fast and versatile program which allows you to import, edit and manipulate photos, vectorise logos and add text with various effects.

Designs can be further enhanced with borders and symbols to generate results which would be almost impossible to achieve with conventional engravers – and in a fraction of the time. Photos and other artwork can be imported as .bmp, .jpg, .ai and .eps formats. Vectorising is not necessary, but can be performed quickly and easily, with node editing options to improve poor quality originals.

MetazaStudio, like all of Roland’s own software, is continually monitored for opportunities to improve. Feedback from users is always welcome and updates are free.

Roland DG Academy in partnership with Walsall College offers a wide range of courses tailored to specific industry needs. These courses cater to a wide variety of training requirements from digital print tutoring and vehicle wrapping, to more niche skills like mastering the art of colour management to name but a few.

Perfect for training new and existing employees, or discovering new markets and applications, there is a Roland DG Academy course for everyone. The courses are designed for varying levels of knowledge and experience.

The Roland Technical Support team provides software, hardware and application support for the entire Roland range and consists of highly skilled engineers who are adept at problem solving and have a wealth of knowledge on Roland products and the industries the products are used in.

All members are comprehensively trained and provide phone, email and remote login support to ensure that your problem is solved as soon as is possible.

When technical support deems that a Roland Engineer is required, they will pass the necessary details on to the Service Team who will assign an engineer to visit according to your service level agreement. Much more than standard “parts & labour” service, RolandCare Service Agreement packages are designed to provide responsive, flexible and cost effective support to ensure the continuing success of your business.
