VersaUV™ LEJ-640 Hybrid Printer

With its ability to print on a vast array of substrates including 4’ x 8’ board stocks up to 13mm (1/2 inch) thick, the LEJ-640 is perfect for wide format signage and point of sale displays, window graphics, exhibition displays and interior décor items. The 1440 x 1440 dpi print mode produces realistic one-off packaging proofs and prototypes with flawlessly smooth gradations, super fine details and sharp text on actual substrates used for production. The VersaUV LEJ-640 prints directly onto many offset, rotogravure and flexo substrates to generate highly accurate proofs at a fraction of your current cost and time.

Roland’s established Eco-UV inks are renowned for their adhesion and durability, complemented by their vivid and accurate colours. Available in a choice of ink configurations the LEJ-640 prints 1) CMYK + White + Clear, 2) CMYK + White + White, or 3) CMYK + Clear + Clear. With high opacity white ink, you can print crisp, bright text and graphics on a range of coloured and transparent media. Clear ink can be layered to add remarkably rich special effects ranging from matte and high-gloss finishes for area highlights or floods to custom-textured effects such as faux leather, crocodile skin and even Braille. More than 70 ready to apply patterns are included in Roland’s VersaWorks Texture System Library.

Eco-UV ink is VOC-free, dries instantly and is safe after curing. Packaged in no-mess 220ml cartridges, they adhere to a wide range of treated and untreated substrates, they can also be stretched and applied around curved surfaces and edges without cracking. The LEJ-640 is ventilation ready, featuring a hood for easy connection with an air filtration system. An automated media take-up system to facilitate unattended printing when using roll media and a table when printing flat media are included at no additional cost.
