Basic Application & Finishing
Learn to mount graphics to a variety of substrates, this course offers ideas and skills needed to enhance any print product portfolio
Course Description
This course is designed for those who are new to sign-making or wide format digital print. While being able to print or cut graphics is the first skill of wide format production, the next is being able to apply and finish those graphics. This course, which includes a mixture of theory and practice, will give you these skills.
On this course delegates will learn how to prepare and apply vinyl, from flood coating, to applying print to board and glass, and learn basic lamination and mounting techniques. Often it is the application and finishing tasks of wide format production that concern new customers most - from how to put lettering on a sign or vehicle, to how to apply graphics to windows. This course shows how to prepare, apply and ensure a smooth bubble and crease-free finish, and is a not-to-be-missed course for anyone new to wide-format or looking to refresh their skills.
For added convenience, our trainer can travel to your premises (within at 2 hour radius of Walsall) and help you apply your chosen media(s), or alternatively, the course can be run at the Roland DG training facility at Walsall College.
