To print a part of a job to match a colour or check the output use the clip image tool under the Clip and Tile tab, just pull in the tabs to select the part of the image that you need.

To minimise waste when printing use the Page Space feature in the custom settings under the Printer Controls tab, this sets the amount of space between jobs.

When using the Roland Colour system to match colours, ensure that in the Queue A settings, under the file format tab that the Convert Spot Color checkbox is checked, if it isn’t the colour correction will not happen and the colour will not match the Roland colour chart.

This is a useful tool If you want to cut the image boundaries, add the file to VersaWorks and on the Cut Controls tab check the box for Cut Image Boundaries, when printed this will cut the image out.

When previewing Print and Cut files to ensure the cut is showing properly, if you notice that one side is missing the cut, then you need to set an EPS Margin, to do this click on Edit, Queue A Settings, then click on the File Format tab and add an EPS Margin of 1mm, then reload the job, the cut path should now show around the whole image.
