The recently opened Roland Academy is the largest industry accredited sign, engraving and large format graphics education facility in Europe. It has been developed by Roland DG, industry professionals and educators at Walsall College in the West Midlands to deliver practical, relevant and accessible courses in a wide range of graphic production disciplines.

All Roland large format printing systems are supplied with on-site post-installation training.  This enables you and your operators to get to know the printer, the VersaWorks™ RIP software and any other procedures and processes that are necessary for the safe and productive use of your printer.  We can also arrange for further optional training in print production, systems operation, colour management and graphics software use at the Academy. 

Current courses cover:  Introduction and Intermediate Digital Printing; ONYX Graphics™ Production House™ and Postershop™;  CADlink™ SignLab™; Corel™ X3 Graphics Suite; Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS2; plus a comprehensive range of finishing and application skills and techniques for graphics manufacturers and sign makers.
