If you’re passionate about what you do, your customers can see it. In January 2020, we’ll be heading to Printwear & Promotion Live! and spreading the love for printing and personalisation with a gorgeous range of systems to set your heart on.
The Printwear & Promotion Live! exhibition (January 19th to 21st 2020) is all about garment decoration, with a fashion show just part of the inspiration on offer. On our stand (G70), we’ll showcase our three decades developing personalisation machines that our users adore – not just because they're at the cutting edge of technology but because they bring dreams to life.
Our theme for the 2020 show is 'Dream It, Make It, Sell It', with the intention to fuel the imagination of every visitor to our stand. In the printing area, Roland experts will demonstrate the VersaUV LEF-12i, a compact UV printer that will help you dream big thanks to its ability to print fantastic colours, white, gloss and even touchable special effects.
“This is the ideal entry point for businesses looking to branch into UV printing,” says Joe Wigzell, Roland’s Academy and Creative Centre manager. “Even in the short space of time since last year’s exhibition, we’ve seen lots of UV newcomers attending our VersaUV LEF course, each one with some exciting product ideas.”
Wide-Format Print and Cut
Alongside it will be the TrueVIS SG2-300 wide-format printer/cutter, a brand-new and highly versatile print-and-cut solution.
“This is the most compact device in the TrueVIS range and that makes it perfect for people looking to invest in some real, premium kit” says Rob Goleniowski, Head of Sales for UK & Ireland. “The scope of products is really impressive, with heat-transfer vinyl, bumper stickers and labels just a small selection of what’s possible.”
Compact Garment Decoration
Heat transfer is one of the most popular methods of garment decoration and for those just starting out, the VersaSTUDIO BN-20 makes a great desktop print-and-cut solution when space is limited. If you want something even more compact, the VersaSTUDIO BT-12 is a self-contained direct-to-garment printer and heating unit that has a footprint not much bigger than a typical microwave oven.
The BT-12 prints directly to cotton garments like T-shirts and baby clothes while your customers wait. With the help of the new cotodesign software platform, shoppers can even upload their own photos and images for you to print there and then.
Mark, Engrave and Cut with Lasers
And there's more than printing to fall for - we've recently launched the LV laser engraver, compatible with leather, wood, acrylic and more – the perfect system for makers with imagination.
“Since we’ve installed the LV-290 in our Creative Centre, we can barely keep up with all the great application ideas we keep having,” says Dan Lathall, Product specialist, “We’ve created everything from build-it-yourself wooden model kits to acrylic sculptures with super-fine detail. Coupled with the LEF range, this is basically an instant personalisation business.”
Small But Mighty
Roland are also displaying some advanced, compact personalisation devices that make a great addition to a thriving personalisation business.
The LD-80 laser decorator lets your customers add stunning foil effects in metallic, holographic or gloss finishes to a range of products – think monograms on leather diaries or a cute design on a powder compact.
For metals, the Metaza MPX-95 metal engraver can etch images and messages on metals including gold, silver and titanium. With this device you can add jewellery, keepsakes, hip flasks and lighters to your catalogue and the ROI prospects are very attractive.
If you can dream it, you can make it with Roland – and that means you can sell it to customers who'll love it. Save the date for Printwear & Promotion Live! and let us help you take your business to the next step.
