Roland DG users attend Sign UK 2016 to inspire potential customers

Roland DG, the UK’s leading manufacturer of wide format digital printers for durable graphics, has announced it is set to return as an exhibitor to Sign & Digital UK 2017; the UK’s premier sign making and digital printing event and will be joined on their stand (H30) by several Roland DG users who will share their experiences of working with Roland DG technology to broaden their business offering or deliver their demanding requirements.

Just one of those users in attendance will include CEO of Mission Motorsport, James Cameron, who worked with Roland DG in an exclusive promotional partnership with Jaguar; which saw Mission Motorsport design and wrap five of its newest F-PACE sports cars. Roland DG, the company’s sponsor, joined forces with Mission Motorsport in its new partnership by loaning the company a Roland DG VersaCAMM SP-540i from the VersaCAMM SP-i Series of printers and cutters.

The VersaCAMM SP-i Series integrated print and cut machines are easy to use, yet powerful enough for experienced professionals who have additional production requirements. Offering outstanding value for money, the compact machinery was a vital tool in the production of the liveries.

James and the Mission Motorsport team will give delegates insight into how Roland DG’s functional and powerful machine was pivotal in producing first-class products, which secured further repeated custom from the renowned car brand.

Also joining Roland DG’s knowledgeable sales and technical team is Joe McNamara, Visual Branding Manager of Renault Sport Formula One Team, who will be on hand to explain how the winning combination of the speed, efficiency and versatility of the Roland DG SOLJET PRO-4 XR-640, enabled the team to produce high standard, vibrant graphics. With tight deadlines and zero margin for error, Joe will reveal why Roland DG technology is an invaluable part of the Renault Sport Formula One Team working processes.

Long-time Roland DG user, ‘Big Pete’ Colman, owner of Classic Print, will complete the line-up of Roland Users in attendance, sharing his experience of working with the company’s innovative technology since 1984. Pete will give insight into working with Roland DG’s new generation eco-solvent ink, including his conversion to Roland DG’s ECO-SOL MAX 3 ink, the new generation eco-solvent ink. Now a convert to the ink, Pete will explain why he switched to Roland DG’s own propriety ink range, and why he would never opt for anything else. Roland DG’s ECO-SOL MAX 3 Ink which offers exceptional performance, fast drying times a huge colour gamut and larger cartridges than previous models. Committed to the Roland DG offering, Pete will share his personal involvement working with Roland DG technology and explain why he’s always got the latest Roland DG technology installed in his print shop.

Taking place from 19th - 21st April at the NEC in Birmingham, Sign & Digital UK 2016 will see Roland DG attend alongside a host of Roland DG Authorised Dealers – showcasing how the brand’s latest technologies including the future of Print & Cut – the TrueVIS VG-640, the VersaUV LEF-300 flatbed UV-LED printer, the newly launched Texart XT-640 high-speed dye-sublimation transfer printer and the new economical wide-format inkjet printer; the SOLJET EJ-640.

Attendees to the event will also be offered the opportunity to add the latest piece of industry technology to their business by entering Roland DG’s Scratch and Win prize draw; giving visitors a chance to win a choice of the TrueVIS VG-640 print and cut device or a SOLJET EJ-640 printer, as well as many other exciting prizes.

Roland DG will also be hosting a range of informative seminars and live product demonstrations which will take place daily across the three-day show.
