Roland DG announces Dental Open Days in collaboration with dealer ESM Digital Solutions

Dental open dayRoland DG UK, alongside Roland DG Authorised Dealer ESM Digital Solutions, will be hosting a series of open days at the Roland DG HQ with the aim to educate attendees on why digital dental machinery is the ideal workflow solution for their business.

In 2010 Roland DG began producing healthcare grade machinery for the dental market with the DWX series under the EasyShape name. Since the introduction of the series, digital dental milling technology has improved in leaps and bounds; and Roland DG has proved itself to be at the forefront of innovation with the introduction of the DWX-51D 5-axis dental milling machine and DWX-4W dental wet milling machine. The revolutionary products offer labs and clinics a wide variety of substrates to work with, from glass ceramics and composite resins through to zircona, wax, PMMA and PEEK.

In collaboration with ESM Digital Solutions, Roland DG’s open days will allow dental professionals the chance to see and experience the complete digital workflow; from the digital impression, with the industry leading intra-oral scanners from 3Shape, the design and manufacture of the restoration in easy-to-use and fully integrated software, and the milling machine output utilising the latest technology from Roland DG. As well as an overview of the process, attendees will get a chance to use the equipment for themselves with hands on demonstrations. Opportunities for informed discussions with Roland DG experts, Peter Kettle, Business Development Manager and Andrew Dudley, 3D and Dental Business Manager, alongside the scanning experts from ESM Digital Solutions, will also be available.

Offering a more efficient, automated¬ solution to the production of crowns, bridges and other dental prosthetics, the DWX series provides clinics and labs an easy way to bring production in-house; a simple package that meets industry standards. User-friendly operation allows even novice users to quickly and easily produce whatever they require, when they require it. The open days will detail exactly how these production methods could be introduced to a lab business or clinic with as little transition period as possible.

The next open day will be held on the 3rd of November at Roland DG’s HQ in Clevedon from 9am-3pm.
