DGSHAPE milling technology on display at IDS
The DGSHAPE space at IDS 2019 will showcase cutting-edge wet and dry digital milling solutions, new business intelligence software tools, and more.
For optimal ease, material flexibility and unattended production, the DWX-52DCi features an Automatic Disc Changer (ADC), capable of loading up to six discs of different materials that may be replaced automatically during milling. The DWX-52DCi also supports DWINDEX performance monitoring software, enabling users to see at a glance when to order materials, replace tools and determine ROI.
The DWX-52D is the evolution of the industry-standard DWX-51D. A new snap-on clamp system offers a fast and secure set-up of various materials and maximises disc usage to make lab operation easier and more efficient than ever.
Both mills feature an Automatic Tool Changer, capable of holding up to 15 tools for fully automated milling of a wide range of materials. Zirconia, wax, PMMA, gypsum, PEEK, glass fibre-reinforced resin, composite resin and CoCr sinter metal are all efficiently and accurately milled for a variety of applications such as crowns, copings, bridges and veneers.
For dental professionals seeking an efficient wet milling solution to increase profitability and reduce chair time for patients, the DWX-42W, DGSHAPE’s latest addition to its growing portfolio of dental restoration technologies, will also be in action at the Show.
The DWX-42W enables wet milling of popular glass ceramic and composite resins with high precision and accuracy and features a number of enhancements from the previous popular DWX-4W. These include new grinding burs for greater material compatibility, increased six-tool Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) capacity to switch out grinding burs as needed for unattended production, ethernet connectivity and a new, high-precision DGSHAPE-engineered spindle.
Additional key upgrades include reduced air pressure and volume requirements (increasing compatibility to working with existing compressed air supply), and up to 50% faster milling times.
For easy integration into existing workflows, the DWX-42W offers the flexibility of using the software and scanners lab technicians and clinicians are already familiar with. Installed as a single machine in a clinic or paired with a DWX-52D in a lab environment, the DWX-42W facilitates scalability, making it simple for a growing business to meet increasing customer requirements.
With lots more besides, plus a comprehensive range of samples, visitors to the DGSHAPE booth will discover the versatility and profit-making opportunities which are possible for today’s dental professionals harnessing the potential of digital production.
DGSHAPE On-Booth Seminar Theatre
For show visitors looking to get the inside track on the latest industry trends and insights, DGSHAPE is hosting a programme of seminars at its on-booth Seminar Theatre. Renowned industry experts and influencers from across the globe will share their experiences of CAD / CAM technology in a series of practical and interactive sessions.
