Low temperature UV LED lamps allow the VersaUV LEC series to handle a vast array of substrates, including foils, BOPP, PE, PET film, clear and metallic stock. In addition, you can print directly onto synthetic and natural leathers, window coverings, fabrics and other specialty materials. The LEC series allows a straight media path for printing on semi-rigid sheets such as card stocks and polycarbonates up to 1mm thick.
Package prototyping made easy
From a label or box, to a bag or sleeve, brand packaging customers require a proof of concept before going to press with a packaging job. Printing a single proof on a press is costly in both time and money. Traditional proofing devices are limited in materials and special effects, and require time-consuming hand processes for scoring and cutting. The LEC series eliminates these issues and allows you to create dynamic, realistic prototypes and custom short runs from start to finish, on virtually any substrate.
The proof is in the print
For critical proofing applications, the VersaUV LEC series is compatible with popular colour proofing software, including CGS ORIS Colour Tuner, GMG Colour Proof and FlexoProof/Dot Proof and EFI Colour Proof XF and Fiery XF RIP.
